Description: Remodel of exiting 1st floor 14,390 sq. ft. emergency department in two phases.

Phase 1 involves: remodel emergency department to convert to a 8,716 sq. ft. care suite for use as a pediatric-centered emergency department consisting of: 15 treatment bays – (4) private treatment bays, (1) 3 unit multi bay, (2) anti-ligature preferred treatment bays, (1) 2unit multi-bay critical care, (1) trauma bay, (2) isolation bays and (1) cast room; a new nurse station; waiting room; reception; medication room; and staff locker room.

Phase 2 consists of: remodel to convert into a 5,674 sq. ft. care suite for use by the critical decision unit including new patient toilet, new accessible patient toilet with shower, medication dispensing system, remodel pediatric waiting room into two offices and accessible patient toilet with shower, and add nourishment counter and storage room to nurse station.
