Creating and maintaining a culture that focuses on the safety of all of our employees is the number one priority of Del Monte Electric. We want to make sure that our employees go home to their families every day without accident or incident. Our safety manager, Scott Barreuther has over 25 years of experience in the electrical industry and works tirelessly to ensure that our team members have the tools and training they need to perform every task safely.
Scott conducts foreman safety training meetings numerous times each year to ensure that our foreman are kept informed of the latest safety information and tools to pass on to their field crews. Our foremen conduct weekly tailgate safety meetings on topics relevant to the current state of their project. In addition, the foreman and key employees attend classes on training topics such as OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, confined space training, trench safety, fall prevention, first aid, and CPR, among other topics. Our employees are provided with the latest tools and PPE to promote a safe work environment.
Each site team creates and maintains a site-specific safety plan tailored to the unique issues of their project. We also utilize Job Hazard Analysis and pre-planning techniques to ensure that each task is properly planned out to anticipate and avoid possible incidents.
Please reach out to Scott Barreuther in our office if you would like more information about the safety culture at Del Monte Electric.
