Description: New construction of a seven-floor outpatient medical building, covering a total area of 170,047 square feet. The building is serviced by a 12KV electrical feed that supplies power to the medium voltage substation located within the buildings mechanical level. Additionally, the building is equipped with a 1.5 MW backup generator to ensure uninterrupted power during a utility outage. This building is fully electric, as there are no provisions for natural gas to meet the City of Oakland’s green building requirements.
