Laney College CUP Project – In Progress

Description: In two project phases, this project consists of: Providing power to new boilers, chillers, water heaters, pumps, air compressors, and fan coils to replace existing end of life equipment. As well as providing power to existing equipment that was fed from the original MCC that was demolished.

Phase 2 includes the relocation of the existing primary 12kV PG&E service to the campus and two 12kV campus loops around a new building, including bringing power to two new cooling towers and associated pumps within the new building. In addition, laying out underground electrical for future pad mount transformer and generator to serve future LRC building, as well as low voltage utility provisions.

As well as providing underground infrastructure for low voltage utilities, future pad mount transformer, and generator to serve the future LRC building.
